Teachers
Our teachers’ top priority is providing children with a warm and nurturing school environment. They’re delighted to expand young minds by sharing their personal passions for art, music, literature, science, and nature. They work together to provide many avenues for learning and growth through a wide variety of activities, crafts, and games. Teachers design an appealing classroom experience to provide for many different learning styles. Our students see school as fun—not work!

Kristin Wajert
Director and Bears Teacher
I am thrilled to be in the Dulin family as the teacher of the Bears and as Teacher/Director! I have my BS and M.Ed. in Early Childhood Development and Special Education from the University of Delaware and George Mason University. I was raised in New York and have been in DC for 20+ years and love this area and all that it has to offer.
I have two incredible kiddos who are Dulin alums! I am excited to be taking on these roles at Dulin working with the families and teachers. I am passionate about teaching and about our play-based curriculum. All the fundamentals of learning happen in these first years and I love being a part of it!
Jaime Iglehart
Foxes Teacher
Prior to choosing to stay home with my kids, I worked as a school counselor and I also substituted at Dulin for a couple of years. My counseling skills help me build a quick rapport with your children and help them to feel safe and comfortable. When I’m not in the classroom, I love painting, tennis, going on adventures with my kids, traveling, exercising, and spoiling my dog. I have had three children go through Dulin and love the strong community feel of the school.
Ellen Brophy
Lions Teacher
In addition to teaching our Lion's class I’m also the lead Enrichment teacher. I’ve been a part of the Dulin community for over 15 years, first as a co-oping parent and board member, then as the lead teacher of the Foxes class. During my time at Dulin, I’ve served as president, admissions chair, and teacher director. I have two teenage children, both Dulin graduates. Before starting my family, I attended Georgetown University and had a career designing educational programming for a major DC trade association. In my free time, I enjoy reading, walking, and any activity near or on salt water.
Becca Johnson
Owls Teacher
I am delighted to be in the Dulin family! My background is in teaching and early childhood development. I have worked in special education and taught Kindergarten for four years. I am passionate about providing an open, collaborative environment where young children can flourish and pursue their interests, gain social skills, and create a foundation for their future learning. More than anything I love watching a child’s face light up when they understand a new concept, master a skill, or make a connection with a peer. Early childhood is truly a magical time!
In my free time, I enjoy visiting the many parks in the area with my daughter and husband, frequenting the library, and listening to a good podcast. I can’t wait to get to know you and your children!
Megan Richter
Administrative Director
My two children attended a cooperative preschool and I treasured every minute of it – even the messy ones! Eight years in the classroom showed me that adults have so much to learn from simply getting on the floor with a child and following their lead. Having served as Board President, Membership Chair and Room Parent, I understand that it takes a village to keep a co-op running smoothly. I love being your Administrative Director and being a part of this wonderful community of dedicated parents and teachers! I have a Masters in Public Communication and have worked in the public relations and marketing fields. I am originally from Kentucky (go Cats!) and enjoy traveling and going on new adventures with my husband and two children.
